I installed the line a month ago, since then it's just been problems, first Telkom kept delaying the install date, then once they finally installed the line it's never worked properly. At first my problem was that I didn't have any dialtone on my phone and my internet was extremely unstable losing connection roughly every 3 minutes.
So I reported it, a tech phoned me a few days later to confirm that it's working, tested it, and was working, but only for the next 3 hours and the line was back to it's old useless state.
Logged the fault once again, received the standard your problem is in hand with tech repair division, a few days later I had a dialtone but no ADSL (my sole reason for this line) a week and a half later tracked the fault online and noticed that it has been marked as resolved (Which it most certainly wasn't)
So I logged the fault again on the 4'th of January, got the standard SMS that the problem is in hand with tech repair division, since then I've received no feedback. I've been phoning their call centres and no one is able to give me any info. They escalate the complaint but nothing ever comes from it. Dealing with Telkom is a nightmare!
