WORST SERVICE IN SA

I bought one of Cell-C's "Giga 200"packages for R1799, 00. The data is to be used at my office in the Pretoria CBD. I also have a Vodacom and Heita sim card and the reception with both is excellent. When I started using the Cell-C sim card the dashboard indicated that reception (HSPA) is 5 out of 5, but when I try to use the internet I have extremely poor download speeds (Ping 120 ms; download 0.19; upload 0.02). I have done speed tests - .

I phoned to log a complaint on 15 February 2013 (Ref: 1744471) to this date I have had no response at all and the problem persists. It is a nightmare to phone Cell-C - the switchboard is a maze and it takes forever to get to the right department. When you reached someone you are told to wait for up to five minutes because "the system is still loading" and then suddenly you are either cut off or diverted to the next person where you have to repeat the whole story again. No wonder Cell-C is rated (refer to today's Beeld) as having the worst cellular customer rating in SA. Please - give my money back and I will go to one of the service providers who can provide service.
