Empty promises and no idea of customer service

On 07/01/2013 I was contacted by Cell C direct to inform me that I have to change to my contract as my current package has been discontinued. After arguing with the agent for a while about why I have to change my package as i had not been informed of the changes, I eventually changed my package after the agent insisted I must change and in fear of my contract becoming null and void and losing my number. I have never had problems with Cell C up until that point. The agent neglected to offer me my current contract (month to month) but with different terms and instead put me on a 6month package which I thought was only 3months long. I wanted to remain on the month to month to upgrade at any point in time and I stated this to the agent. Now that I want to upgrade to a different package I can't because I have to wait until April. I've emailed and contacted Cell C direct to have this changed on 13/02/2013. No feedback was received at all. I had to follow up on the 15/02, 18/02, 20/02, 22/02 and 25/02 and each time I get promises someone will contact me. My initial query was closed on 18/02 which I found out on 22/02 only to have another query opened. UTTERLY SHOCKING AND TIME WASTING!
