MTN trying to rip me off!

I took out a new contract with MTN Corporate (011 991 4740) for a Samsung Galaxy S3. The phone arrived with a problem on the button on the handset. I called MTN and had the phone sent back to be replaced with a new handset. After the phone was taken back, MTN decided to debit my account for R1500; i dont why??! When i called back to ask about this, i was told that i will be refunded. So i was waiting and waiting for my new handset, and to be refunded. Up till now, i have not received the refund, nor the handset! Today i was called requesting the proof that i submitted the handset back (this was over a month and a half ago). i dont have any such proof as i was not left with any "proof", when the courier collected the handset, and it was not part of my agreement with MTN that i should retain any such document from the courier, else i would have! It has been over two months now... and i still dont have the handset!

The lady i dealt with is Tsego, who i must say in her defence is very help and understanding, however she just seems to be getting uphill from the collections people who collected the phone, probably pocketed it, and now seem to be denying it!

I am appaled by this MTN!
