CANCELLATION REQUEST STILL NOT PROCESSED

I took out a new contract, 3G UNCAPPED LITE Contract with MTN and cancelled my ADSL as I noted that the speed of this product was double the speed of the ADSL line I was running on.

When receiving the product I never reached a speed higher than 20kb/s as our area does not support any data usage above edge / gprs; EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD THAT THE MODEM WOULD HAVE 3G COVERAGE IN LANGENHOVENPARK, BLOEMFONTEIN.

When complaining about this at this store, they informed me that they needed only to do a report in order to cancel the contract as they could do nothing to improve the speed of the internet. The technician has been to see if a range extender could improve this (3 times) and has finally compiled a report that nothing can be done and yet (ONE MONTH LATER) the contract has still not been cancelled. I have paid for all the initiation fees as well as the first month's levy and the second month will, in all likelihood be deducted as well as they are doing NOTHING to assist in repairing the breach of contract toward me.

I have had to re-institute my ADSL as the modem now hovers on no more than 10kb/s in any event.

i am also living in Bloemfontein and not in a rural area.
