I bought an 8 ta prepaid package (60 60gig for R1800) 2weeks ago. I had confirmed that my area had coverage. I bought the sim and tried it. Didnt work at all. The speed is around 20kbps and pages take 2-3minutes to load. I have an MTN and a Vodacom data package also, and the speed is excellent.
8ta service has not improved since then.
I logged a complaint with 8ta the next day after i signed up. I have made 3 calls to the data dept since then and no assistance, just promises. I am still waiting for someone to call me.
Why does 8ta take our money, knowing that their service is non-existent and then when you complain you get no service. This is pathetic!
