Data speed takes a dive after 8pm

I have 2 contract with 8ta, one is a 10gb big package, and the other a R50/m (which I load at least R200/month for data) In the morning I get a decent speed test of around 8500mb/s, but as 8pm strikes the rate goes down to 700mb/s, even sometimes looses connectivity. This has been getting worse recently. I have gotten myself a simca rd from another provider (prepaid) today, and done the same speed test at 8pm tonight and got a rate of 6800mb/s. Safe to say m there is nothing wrong with my equipment. What do you recommend. Or should I accept that you are purposefully throttling the data connections at certain times of the day.
