Hello Peter,

I moved in December 2012 at Weltevredenpark, Florida, Johannesburg. At my house and the next door neighbours's house there is no Vodacom signal and at certain places a very weak signal. It is so bad that i can only communicate through sms, because if a call gets through it breaks up so bad that you can't hear the person. We also have a vodacom sim in our house alarm system to notify if there is a burglary etc. This sms can take up to to 3 hours before it deliver. for me this is a big issue for my loved ones safety. I have lodge a complaint December 2012 with Vodacom and they investigated that a new tower should be installed, because that area is in a "dead spot" This is now 3 months later and i still cant use my phone at home. Can my contracts be cancelled so that i can use a "better" service provider that is willing to give me signal there? Is it not the service providers duty to provide a signal in a residential address?
