So its about time i upgrade my old blackberry and im keen on a new smartphone... so i did some browsing around and got the new sales Vodacom catalogue from the Cape Gate shopping center... immediately the LG Optimus is advertised as a new phone available on contract for R229 pm... Billiant. However i go past vodacom Cape gate and the gent there says "they dont have stock as its not a popular phone" this happens again at Canal Walk (2 of the three vodacom shops there) and again at vodacom shop at V&A waterfront.
My name has been given in at two of the vodacom shops at Canal Walk to notify me as soon as they get stock and still nothing... since Friday 8th Feb.
Why bother advertising new phones if some of your biggest stores cant make them available?
