Guess Cell C doesn't want clients

I went in to CellC at Carnival Mall today at 16h20 to open up a contract for the R99 a month 2 gig anytime data bundle. I came prepared with all the required documentation and filled out the forms. I was then informed by the consultant that she was just waiting for the email to go through and then she would give me the phone to speak to someone to conduct a security check. After waiting roughly 30 to 40 minutes, the consultant informed me that I cannot open up the contract as I do not have any credit record. Her advice was for me to take out a R30 p/m top up contract (Note: STILL a CellC contract), make sure the payments are successful for 3 months and only then will I be allowed to take up this data contract. At that point I left the store. I do not hold other accounts and do not intend to. CellC was the first and only account I intended on opening and I require the data bundle as of this month, not in 3 months' time. There is a flaw in CellC's system. Not everybody has accounts and everybody has to open their first account somewhere. I chose CellC. Obviously CellC was a bad choice. I'll save you and my colleagues and friends all the time and effort and let them know beforehand.
