In July of 2013, CellC agreed to terminate the contract without costs due to breach of contract on their part. For 7 months I paid for a contract with very limited service. At home, I did not have any service, i complained, sent escallation forms! All ignored. Finally, CellC agreed that they are in breach and the contract is cancelled. They collected the phone on the 29th July, I then ported to MTN, best decision ever! No dropped calls, I can make and receive calls anywhere! Oh and the data service actually works. Today, 27th August 2013, CellC return the phone saying it went in for technical repairs!? the contract is cancelled and guess what, there is a credit due to me from CellC - still not processed on the part of cellC.
In fact, I should claim damages from cellC for all the months of paying a contract and not having service. I am entitled to do so in accordance with the consumer protection act.
