6 months and still no joy
On 11 June 2013, I took out a new data contract. I received a data sim card and mf10 wireless router. After countless phone calls to the technical department, I could not get it to work, so I put it aside. In September I called wanting to cancel and the consultant advised not to due to the cost. Recently when attempting to use it again, still nothing. Then decided to put the sim into a phone - and this is when the problem was discovered that the sim was not activated and a sim swap was needed. No problem, finally I would be paying for something I would be using, or so I thought till my joy was short lived by the system generated ITC questions that I failed after 4 attempts with 2 different consultants and so my sim swap was not possible. I know my status and know where I've worked but NO not according to their system. I know that every company has its own procedures and policies but at times further steps need to be used to determine identity. I am being asked to go to a cell c store to do the sim swap which unfortunately for me is 242km's away. What other options am I left with? Please sort this out or we end the relationship (which I'm sure would not be a problem for you)
