I am writing this as a completely dissatisfied customer who would like MTN to take drastic steps to keep me on board or they should just cancel my contract with them. I took a top-up contract that came with Nokia E7 Smartphone around April 2012. To be quiet honest, the handset never worked throughout as I had to submit it three times for repairs. The first time around it came back with only a Software Upgrade done on it. After that I only used the phone for a day and I had to re-submit it. I requested a new phone but was told that the phone will be repaired. I got the phone back second time around and it worked for a while before giving me the same errors. I went back for the third time to the MTN SP in Three Rivers as a frustrated individual and I was again told that the decision to give me a new phone will be taken after a technical report from the MTN Repair Centre in Bloemfontein. The phone was indeed submitted to the centre and it came back with a Beyond Economical Repair Report. The technical team sited a Liquid Damage on the phone. How is this possible? The phone never worked because it went in and out of repair centres and I feel like MTN just didn't want to replace it.
