VODACOM's PATHETIC INFRASTRUCTURE

I am a lecturer at the local university in Potchefstroom. I live on the western side of the suburb called The Bult (near campus). I make use of the prepaid data bundles sold by Vodacom. When I bought the modem I was assured that ALL of Potchefstroom has 3G coverage. And for the scandalous amount of R429 per 2.5GB I would expect nothing less! Despite this extortionate price, it took me 20 minutes to write this report because of all the disconnecting! Most of the time it's on "EDGE" and the Internet is at a snail's pace. One would expect a company like Vodacom to be in 2013 and not the early 1990's with regard to service and Internet coverage. I was assured, no, guaranteed that Vodacom's coverage is all over Potchefstroom. I find this breach extremely uncourteous, but then, what company still honours courtesy? It's all capitalism anyway.
