So, I made my complaint on Hello Peter AND NOTHING HAPPENED. Vodacom immediately responded through an automatic e-mail. Then some customer service drone e-mailed me asking absurd questions (OBVIOUSLY would I make sure my software is up to date!) which attests of Vodacom undervaluing the intelligence of their customers -- very ironic when you look at the people working for Vodacom. Point is: The internet is still UNBELIEVABLY SLOW! GPRS and if you are lucky EDGE. No Vodacom technician contacted me. I am now going to look into the deal of Telkom-internet, because Vodacom in their guarantee of 3G coverage. I am also going to encourage friends, family, colleagues and students to make use of this better service if it proves to be better -- you never know with the corporations being so adamant about making money and undoing your person-hood. I shall write another report on Vodacom in 5 days, seeing that I shall not leave this despite my switching of service providers. If we leave these things unchecked we would live in 1984 before long!
