In December 2012 I signed a voice contract with MTN to be added to my existing data contract. I very specifically stated that I wanted to keep my exisiting number, and signed a migration application form, with the other mountain of paperwork. I got my phone a few days later with a new sim card, and when I queried this I was told not to activate the card, it would be sorted out. I visit the branch almost weekly, I have a list of about six reference numbers complaints logged, and after 2 months my phone is still on pre-paid and I am paying money for a number I dont have and dont want and was told not to use.
I also cannot believe that MTN have just blatlantly ignored the issue and refuse to do anything about the problem
