I took a Samsung Galaxy Pocket on Contract and it now 3 months old and the touch screen does not work at all-it started at 2 months and continued to worsen until the point where I cannot do a single thing. I took it back to the store, box and all to have it exchanged. The phone is in perfect condition, save one small scratch across the top (it is literally a paint chip), no other physical damage. The young, white gentleman at the service store (next to sheet street), told me that I cannot have my phone replaced under MTN's "implied warranty". How does a scratch affect my touch screen.
I am a Financial Advisor-it is my job to know the legislations in place. I know that under the new CPA, it is a manufacturer fault and thus I am entitled to have my phone replaced. I will not accept this. I also know that any Government Legislation supersedes any "in house policies" you people have in place.
Please contact me urgently so we can resolve this issue before I am forced to take further steps.
