Telnet: false promises and poor service

In jan 2012, Telnet consultant, Ferrol Naidu signed me up on Telnet, with the promise that Telnet will save me 37% off my existing Telkom bill. After 4 months of using their rerouted system, there was no saving at all. in essence my bills had increased, so i had to cough up at least another R350 monthly for their services. I contacted Telnet, and Amanda Hughes tried to assist, but eluded to the fact that no saving could be made on my account, and their consultant had mislead me! Amanda handed me over to Terrence Barker, who could not do much. In there meanwhile their adsl service was intermittent and i had many days of downtime, loss of profits, stress and frustration. I cancelled my contract. Operations manager, Joanne Mcdonough refuses to refund my credit of R1112.64, citing "due to the terms and conditions of your contract". It is sad that Telnet could not honour their part of the contact, but penalise the customer. Be aware of this company, as their service all round is poor!
