License Disk & Number Plates

We are sitting with an issue regarding the insurance on the Kia Picanto Street that Tamlim Jeftha bought from Gershwin a week ago. The insurance is now requesting the license disk to be scanned urgently as it will have all the necessary details. We are unable to do so as we are still waiting for the license disk and number plates.

The insurance wants to withhold the comprehensive cover if the disk is not scanned. Licensing and registration do not take that long. I have bought cars before and got the number plates and licensing disk on the same day. My daughter does not even want to drive the car at this moment. Kia's Brackenfell after-sales service is non-existent as no one at Kia even called to give feedback, we had to do the follow-up ourselves. Kia does not take any ownership even though this service is being provided by a third party, AS THEY SAY THE SALE IS DONE.

I trust that this will be resolved speedily.
