MTN - Refurbished blackberry

On handing in my cellphone the lady at Mtn Hemmingways advised that someone would call me with regards to my repair, I called in to the call centre to see what the progress was on my repair to which I was advised that my handset is being replaced with a refurbished unit. My blackberry is 5months old, if I had known that I was going to get a cellphone that belonged to 2other customers before with a refurbished sticker on the phone I would NEVER have accepted this. I am thinking what will happen should I want to sell my blackberry, how does this affect hte resale! I want my new phoned that came out the box infront of me, not a phone that was worked on previously because it had faults just like my blackberry had a fault, a simple scroll button was not working, why could this simple scroll button not just be repaired instead of me receiving a refurbished celllphone? New for old, is this Blackberrys pathetic policy? I do NOT care about their policies in place, cellular stores should make every attempt to HIGHLIGHT this to their customers! It is called going the extra mile with service. There are many complaints that are the same as mine, surely someone should start doing something about it!
