On Monday 4 Feb 2012 I ported from my long term service provider using Autopage to Vodacom. Now one week later I am the proud owner of a Iphone with NO working connection. When speaking to Vodacom they blame Autopage and when speaking to Autopage they blame Vodacom.
What neither company considers is the massive financial impact this porting is having on me.
Phoning the Vodacom Helpline gets you connected to an over zealous operator who will not transfer the call because you are a afrihost caller.
Vodacom blames Autopage and Autopage blames Vodacom - anybody actually wants to help me save my bussiness completely dependant on the now non-excistent phone number or should I start damage control and ask a laywer to see how he can assit in getting damages.
If this is a sign of things to come then not having a connection is probably the best connection I will ever have.
