10 days without connection

I renewed my cellphone contract with Autopage / VOdacom after previously being with Vodacom directly. I did everything within my power to have all bases covered and had visited Autopage a month before the end of the contract with Vodacom seeing to it that my papework was in order. The day my contract ended I again visited Autopage to make sure there is no hick ups. They told me it will be 24hr before I will be connected. The first excuse was after the 48hrs passed is that i ordered a phone they did not have in stock and they needed that to activate the contract. I then told them to give me a lesser quality phone to just the connection because I needed my phone for business. In this period I could not get any calls or make them. I got the phone on the Saturday (three days later than the termination of the VOdacom conract). The Monday I started receiving calls but could not make any. This status continued until today which is 10 days since the end of my contract with Vodacom. I am really desperate and I am the only person worried as they do not call me to inform me of the status and thus I have to call them the whole time and everytime there is another excuse.
