Pure Torture - Service @ Cresta Vodacare

I was in the area so I took my phone to Cresta for a software upgrade Friday afternoon. Usually I can wait until the update is done. I was told it will take 7 working days?!! When I complained that I cannot go without my phone for a whole week I could suddenly collect late Saturday. Late Saturday about 17H30 I arrive to collect my phone to be told parts etc will have to be ordered. At about 6pm I receive a message that my phone is ready to be collected, CRAZY. Sunday I return to collect my phone only to be told that no Data Tech is available to restore data. When I complained that I have been travelling up and down from the other side of town and that all this could at least have been explained to me right from the start the offer was made to arrange to deliver my phone to a Vodacare closer to me on Monday so that I could collect it. I phoned to follow up today. I am still waiting. WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A QUICK STOP FOR AN UPDATE as I have done previously at other branches turned out to be A TRIP OF PURE TORTURE. WHO CAN STAY WITHOUT A PHONE IN this day and age. You're totally cut of and the best part is I am paying for this service and can't do anything about it! Unbelievable!!!
