In December 2012 I phoned Vodacom about cancelling my two contracts that I had with them, I had an iPhone contract as well as an iPad data contract. I could not use my iPad due to the fact that I had no data signal and I could not use the data on my phone or make any phonecalls without the call being dropped. They knew they had a problem in the area that I lived in with data and phone signal and ended up cancelling my contracts free of charge provided that I gave my iPad and iPhone back, which I did. They told me that because I was within my free minutes and data at the time of cancellation I would not have to pay any money in. On the 31 of January an amount of R1357.78 was debited from my account. I did not recceive any statement, after speaking to Vodacom they made a mistake. Its now almost 2 weeks and I still have not received my money back and no one can tell me when I will be getting it back. They very quick to take money out my account but I have to beg to get MY money back. As far as I am concerned my contract with Vodacom was made null and void in December and them taking money out of my account constitutes.
