I have a contract with MTN that has since run its course, I had then called up the customer care centre and informed them of my intent to cancel my contracts as I had no use for it anymore. I had been informed that switching to pay as you go will be free and thus went for it. I had numerous times confirmed that I no longer want to pay for anything - hence the cancellation.
At the end of that month the one contract is billed higher than the other, the following month the same happens - even though I have cancelled. I called up again in JAN to query why the amount is more and was told that it was the last debits to my account. I was willing to leave it at that, but then at the end of JAN I got billed yet again, albeit just for the 2nd contract.
What will it take for MTN to stop taking my money - after I explicitly told them that I want to cancel and stop paying for something I no longer use.
