I guess the saying if someone messes you around the 1st time it is their fault. it it happens the second time then you are a volunteer. On the 1st week of January I took my phone to the Mtn shop as the icons disappeared. I spoke to Aluta Saunders who works for mtn and he told me the software needed updating. I then left my phone in his possession for the software to be updated. when i went back to get my phone he told me that his attempt to update the software was not successful so he had to book it in to be rectified.By then the problem has worsened so i couldn't even make calls from the hand set. according to him it was going to take on to two weeks for my phone to be fixed. It took mtn three weeks to return my phone and that was after i have enquired about it. i was told my phone is water damaged and there was nothing they could do about it. I then requested that they have to give me proof that when i initially received the phone it was not damaged, cause as far as I know i am not the one that damaged the phone. To date I have not received the proof i requested. Needless to say I was forced to buy a temp phone from mtn cresta and have been informed that it's damaged.
