I booked my Sony Xperia Z in for repairs on 06/01/2014,
I was then notified that there was liquid damage on the phone. I queried this as the Xperia Z is said to be a water proof phone and was purchased for that exact reason, not once has the device been used outside of its capabilities as such.
They then sent it for reassessment and after a few weeks and calls to find out the status of my device they are eventually sending it back with no repairs done what so ever.
When I phoned again to query why I was not notified at any stage of the options I had I was simply told "we cannot help you any further with this matter".
Being a client of Vodacom and having the same number for more than 14 years, I expected better service and a solution to the matter and not a slap in the face.
