After taking my phone in for repairs to the Vodacom Customer care in Sandton where I was assured that my phone's issue of rejecting the sim card was fixed by loading new software on. Was faulty again.
I phoned custormer care to ask advise for the best centre to take my phone in for repairs. She suggested Vodacom World in Midrand. So after driving 30 min I get there, take a number and wait my turn. I end up waiting a full hour before getting served.
The person manning the information desk told me it was rush hour and everyone comes at lunch. Please do tell me why more staff members aren't available for client service then? In a consumer driven industry it is unacceptable to make a client wait a full hour before getting service. Not to mention why the sim card reader was not checked the first time, They have wasted so much of my time and i haven't been able to use my phone.
I am very disappointed with the service and level of repairs experienced in Johannesburg with vodacom. I really hope they surpass my expectations of them cause at the moment I feel I should change service providers.
