I run 2 businesses on a telkom Business landline/internet package. Monday (4 feb) morning i logged a technical fault on our internet line. Phone was working, but no internet access. It is now wed afternoon and STILL NO INTERNET ACCESS! Our server is hosted online, so all my transactions are done online. That's 3 days that i can't invoice customers, complete month end, send out statements, check our bank balance, complete my SARS VAT return and the list goes on. I have lost countless deals because i can't check my stock balances, i can't chase debtors because i can't do statements. I can't submit a VAT return so SARs will penalise me. This is costing me a truckload of money, and all i get from teh call centre is: "a technician has been allocated to this and it has been escalated". To where? The coffee room?
