After booking in the iPhone with a faulty battery on the 28th of December, the phone is returned to the store 3rd week of Jan with no repairs made. The phone gets booked in again. On the 4th of Feb only, they tell me they can't work on the phone because the Find My iPhone feature is turned on. When booking the phone in December already, i wasn't told this. A month already gone and i've encountered a lot inconvenience not having a phone, not being able to access work mails when i'm on the road, with a nano SIM that won't just fit into any phone.
On the 5th of Feb, i call to follow up. I get told, oh sorry, the warranty won't cover your phone because it fell. Could this not have been picked up in December already? They say a scratch on a phone is considered as "physical abuse or abnormal use", and so the warranty won't cover. So who does their warranty cover because majority of people have dropped their phones before. And what does a scratch on a phone have to do with a faulty battery? Why did they waste so much time with the phone? What importance did the Find my iPhone feature have if they won't even work on the phone?
I cannot wait for this contract to expire!!!
