Vodacom
Warranty/Repairs

Last year early October 2012 the phone's screen just went blank and inoperative in which case i took the phone in for repairs and was then advised because of the dent on the face of the mobile i had to pay /-R1000.00 to get the phone repaired (even though i took out a contract with them in may 2011 and was led to believe the warranty was in place for the next 2 year which covers the length of the contract).

well i paid the sum and they apparently replaced the screen, but when the phone came back the battery life didn't last long enough to carry me throut the day even when the phone was on stand-by, even with a new battery the problem is persisting.

now when i take back the phone i'm told that the phone is "Out of Warranty" and i'd have to cover the costs from my own pocket, even when i highlight that the phone's repairs where originally carried by the network company no one is willing to assist as everyone is relying on the fact that the phone is out of warranty.

now my problem is i that since i got back the phone it doesn't work as normal and hence i got cheated on their repairing services offered by them and i'd like them to fix that i don't want a new liability/debt.
