Wrong Phones without Sim card

I upgraded 2 cell phones last week via the call centre. I upgraded both phones to iPhone 5C, which is considerably more expensive than our previous contract. We asked for one green and one white phone, the agent said that this was fine. They said that our phones would be delivered between 3 and 7 working days. On Monday 03/02, I got a call from RAM couriers saying that he can expect delivery on Tuesday 04/02. When the item was opened it was only 1 phone in yellow, without a new sim card. I called Cell C and told them about the error. They told us that WE now have to wait for them to come and collect the phone and check if it has not been damaged, i feel like they are saying that we are at fault, which is preposterous!!! We have also been told that they are now out of stock of white phones and that they only have green ones left, we were assured that we would get a white phone, I already had to compromise my choice! This is completely unacceptable service. How can they get it this wrong? We are now paying for a phone that we do not even have. We already lost airtime value going from Top Up to contract and now I am paying a monthly premium for an iPhone while using an old Samsung!
