I have received a notification on my phone on the 1st Feb 2014 advising me that my banking account has been debited by Vodacom for R1900 . Firstly I must say that the Vodacom app for checking account balances are absolute rubbish! as I had logged on a day or two ago and my balance to be deducted was about R800, so I called through immediately to customer service which the lady advised its due to data usage. Pls bare in mind that my account had already been deducted & no statement was sent until I requested & this has been going on for months, why have I also not received a DETAILED bill not just a SUMMARY!
90% of my time is spent @ work, where I am connected to wifi and my data is not under usage.
I feel that I am being by Vodacom, a friend of mine has been billed over R10 000 for his bill for last month as well. I think that this is unacceptable, yes I do use my phone but for the amount you have billed me when I'm connected to a wifi is utter nonsense. The app for the Galaxy phone is obviously not true, you people need to STOP this act that is going on IMMEDIATELY! Pls look into my account because im taking this higher court & getting a lawyer.
