I purchased the sony xperia Z1 at greenstone (vodacom4u) as an upgrade, .the only reason i chose the z1 is because of its waterproof capabilities. The second day i had it i wanted to test it in my pool, knowing that all the covers had to be closed i held the phone in water for at least 10secs, and all was okay then after about an hour the camera started taking pics on its own! i took it back to vodacom and sent it to the repair centre in cresta and they sent it back saying water got through one of the seals and warranty is void, how can they advertise it being waterproof when it is not!!! FALSE ADVERTISING . Can sony not see that there is a problem with their seals as there are plenty complaints about the same thing.
