I called telkom inquiring about laptop and modem packages, I was assisted by a salesman called Monde, who then told me about a laptop and a 1.5GB data package for R229 per month, A month later i realized i was actually receiving half of the data that we initially agreed on, i then called telkom to verify if there was a mistake or not n to my surprise i was then told that the 1.5GB is divided into day and night bundles, which was never explained to me before i took the contract, i then raised my concern with the branch manager Gordon Mackenzie who suggested that i should get another modem on a separate contract at another cost in order to make up for the 1.5GB or pay a cancellation fee of R4578.50, which is not really solving my problem because the mistake did not occur from my side but from the salesman who failed to explain to me what the package really entailed. I need my 1, 5GB during the day as i am not about to use my internet in the middle of the night, i mean who does that?
