I requested an ADSL line 12 Dec 2013 already. I have since had no feedback and need to follow up each time.. It has been more than 21 working days as promised to be installed. I was first told there are no lines in Sunningdale and a technician will investigate Have not heard any feedback from Telkom since. My neighbor has ADSL so that alone was misinformation. Today after having the call dropped 4 times from a 15 min hold I was told there are lines as I knew however there are no ports available??? No one can give me clarification when and if this issue will be resolved. I am going on Maternity and need ADSL to be able to work from home and earn an income. As SA leading phone company, surely Telkom needs to have supplies in stock and at the very least be able to keep you as a customer up to date with your request.
