Cannot Upgrade to a Phone with Finance Plan

I am due for an upgrade on one of my lines the number ending with *1042*. I was advised I cannot upgrade to a device with a finance plan due to a default list. Why am I being discrimanated against due to this. Ive been a vodacom customer now for over 10years and have been paying for phones with a finance plan. If this is the case. I will have to cancel all my 3 contracts with you when my 24 months are over.
