My Telkom Mix was due for an upgrade in November 2013, Telkom has advised that they can't do any upgrades on there 'mix' plan as there is a hold on all 'Mix' contracts. I was advised that if I want to upgrade I have to cancel my existing plan and take out a new one. This is completely unacceptable as I will loose my existing number and receive a new one, without being able to port the number, according to Telkom customer care. I can't understand how Telkom can sell a 2 year contract and not have their process in place to upgrade their customers contracts, especially when it's over 2 years ago?!? Something is seriously wrong with this and I'm sure this is in contravention of something?! I want honest answers from Telkom and what are they going to do to rectify this issue.Us customers are paying for a contract while getting no benefits promised from it? Unacceptable!!
