Back in 2009 I took out a contract for my daughter who was at school at the time at the Sandton City branch of Virgin Mobile.
When she was unable to get coverage in the area which we live (Blairgowrie), we referred the problem to the officials at the branch on 4 or 5 occasions in the attempt to resolve the issue with various individuals making recommendations and indicating they would refer the issue the the Technical Staff with feedback or resolution provided.
My daughter, in the end, asked me to cancel the contract and offered to pay the cancellation costs from her small savings account to enable her to avail of the services of MTN.
We again visited the Sandton City Branch of Virgin Mobile to cancel the contract and we advised that we would be required to visit the Cedar Square offices of the service provider to cancel the contract.
We then made the visit to the said offices and were requested to visit the reps on the lower level of the centre to cancel the contract.
Having paid the amount of R600 odd rand to cancel the contract we then took out a contract with MTN in Clearwater Mall.
Despite visiting their Office and conversing with the Customer Care via e-mail - still unresolved
