In December 2013 and January 2014 vodacom has been taking an extra R200 (approx.) from my bank account together with my monthly debit order. i have called their call centre and spoke to 4 people on 4 different days, 3 of them told me that I would be contacted within 24 hrs and that the issue is currently being investigated and this may take a while. The 4th consultant (who i called today) said that they have only just assigned this matter to someone yesterday and only now my case is being attended to. I think this could even go on for a year before any action is taken, I do not undersatnd why this has to be a slow, painful process when vodacom has taken money from my bank account without my permission.
I dont have any open lines with vodacom and I have written contracts to prove it, all my contracts are top-ups. i currently have 3 contracts with vodacom and I have been a loyal customer for many years now, however, in times of need Vodacom is not deilvering the service i had expected. I would definitely not recommend anyone to take contracts with Vodacom and I hope to change all my contracts to a better service provider soon.
