NO STOCK IPHONE 5

I have been trying to get a iPhone 5 on my contract since the launch date on the 14th December. I do understand the phone is in short supply.

I have had my name on a waiting list with MTN, I was told I was number 2 on the sales persons list.

A friend who had not had his details on any waiting list, walked in and managed to pick one up on the launch date.

The staff are always busy (long queues with only 2-3 consultants on at any one time) to do anything, NO ONE CAN GIVE YOU ANY FORM OF ETA OR EXPLANATION. Ive been told the warehouse is closed until the 15th Jan, they are unable to order stock, the system wont allow them to... I HAVE HEARD EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK! SOME STORES IN JHB HAVE 50 UNITS IN STOCK... CT NONE!

Ive even been kept waiting in a queue while a sales person went to chat to her brother for 5 mins at the entrance to the store, while the other sales people made comments as to why is she taking so long, she was not on a lunch or tea break.

VERY UNHAPPY MTN CUSTOMER!
