Cell C
No Stock - iphone 5

Hi,

I ordered the iPhone 5 with 3 different Cell C branches on the launch date, 14th December 2012. As well as calling Cell C directly (084145 to order the phone. The three branched concerned were the V and A Waterfront, Bayside (Table View) and Canal Walk respectively.

I personally went to each to store on the date with the intention of opening a new iPhone 5 contract and all of the stores i named above were out of stock by noon (12:00) on the launch date.

My query, is to find out why Cell C have a launch date and advertise a well priced promotion (R399 on 16 gig iPhone 5) two days before the date and then fail to ensure a sufficient amount of stock. As good as the promotion is, they have done more harm to there reputation by failing to have stock.

It is almost a month since the launch date and i am still waiting for stock! I regularly contact each of the three stores to find out how far my name is down the list and cannot seem to get a direct answer. 084145 has also been just as useless to inform me when stock will be arriving.

So i am hoping someone from Cell C could enlighten me as to when the iPhone 5 "mysterious" stock will be arriving at the Cell C stores?
