I tested 8ta data coverage at my house with my existing sim, worked fine.
Then I bought the 60 60 prepaid data deal on a different sim on Fri 24 Jan 2014 for R1, 800. Data coverage works sometimes, but most of the time just drops and stops completely (from what I hear from friends this seems to be a common problem with 8ta?)
Phoned the call centre for help on Tue 28 Jan 2014, and again on Wed 29 Jan 2014 when I didn't get any feedback after my first call. They promised someone will phone to arrange for a technician to come out and test if a booster will help. Still waiting...
