Cancel Telkom ADSL Data Account

I'm needing to cancel my Telkom ADSL data account and to do so I've been told I must call 10210 and follow the prompts for the cancellations department. I've tried to do this on 2 occasions and waited in excess of an hour on each occasion without ever reaching an agent. These two attempts where on two different days and two different times of day. Today I went into my local Telkom Direct store to try sort the cancelation there as I simply don't have hours on end to waste trying to cancel a service. When I got there and spoke to a representative I was told the only way to cancel was to talk to that department on the phone and asked to sit at their customer desk in the shop and make the call. I waited another 5 min trying to get through there and considering the previous 2 hours wasted doing the same thing decided to hang up for fear of yet another hour of wasted time with no result. I'm unwilling to spend any more time trying to accomplish this simple request and will simply stop paying the bill if someone from Telkom does not assist me.
