MTN ENCOURAGES ILLEGAL PROBLEM-SOLVING

On 04/01/2014 my cerebral-palsy son complained that his Blackberry which I had given him for Christmas was not functioning on the mobile network anymore. We phoned MTN only to find out that the phone had been blacklisted by some consultant at MTN, which was still fair, considering "human error". I was requested by MTN to complete an affidavit explaining that it was not I, but them who had made a mistake and to confirm that I am indeed the legal owner of the phone - as if a would report that he/she had just a phone and would appreciate it if they would un-blacklist the phone...
After submitting the affidavit I was requested supply proof of ownership which I duly supplied via my company who also contacted MTN to confirm that they had not blacklisted the phone as. After numerous email correspondence attempts to solve the problem, to date the phone is still not functioning...

SO, MTN, how is it that it's so easy to illegally un-blacklist a phone, but when trying to handle the matter the 'right way' (to, BY THE WAY, correct YOUR mistakes) it remains unresolved???

Would appreciate any solutions - illegal ways also welcome at this stage.
