I am trying to blacklist my cellphone and it doesnt look like anyone is willing to help or knows what to do. The phone was on contract with Nashua mobile on a MTN contract which makes it a MTN phone, Right? now the contract expired and it was a normal pay as you go phone. With previous bad experience from MTN I bought a prepaid 8ta sim and used it in the phone. First when I went to mtn they told me they cant blacklist the phone and I have to phone myself and they supplied me with a number that doesnt work, Then I went to another MTN and they tried to assist but the call centre was already closed. When I phoned myself this morning they said that because I used an 8ta sim I have to phone them, I phoned 8ta and they said that I must phone MTN because it stays a MTN phone even if the sim card is from someone else which makes sence to me because if you switch the phone on it still gives you a MTN welcome screen. Somebody is still walking around with my phone and I cant claim from the insurance if it is not blacklisted all because of MTN. This just tells me to never go to MTN again!!
