Been a client with MTNsince 1996, my average billing per month was in the region of R450.00.
InJuly-August-September-October-November of 2013 I had to pay in an enormous amount of close to R20 000.00. which was an average of R5000.00 a month -which had set me back.

I approached MTN at mt edgecombe for asstance because i am on a coporate account. answer was that i have used the data and now i have to pa. I have used the net on my phone seldom, however did no downloads. when I requested for a URL report it shows that data downloads was used from 2am and 4 am in the morning. I have asked them to investigate to no avail. what disgust me is that i have shown them my average spending and why only in 2013 would i have used the phone on data cost why not in 2011 and 2012 when i received the new Blackberry.

Disgusted with the reponse and out of pocket, MTN could have looked at their records on my billing I am and always an average spender maximum amount to R600.00 and not beyond.

I dis metion to the sales rep if my data could be hackedstill no answer - please investigate and compensate as you MTN have put me out of pocket.
