I have been with MTN for 10 years and my bills have always been an average of R400 a month. All of a sudden over the past 8 months, I have been charged and average of R800 and my bills keep going up. This month, as of 20 May my un-billed balance is R1234 and climbing.
I was told it was due to data charges and when I worked out my data usage they billed my for 500 GIGS in ONE MONTH!! IMPOSSIBLE. I logged a billing enquiry over 2 weeks ago and I haven't had any feedback yet, so I have now cancelled my contract with MTN and had to pay an early cancellation fee of R3299 despite being over charged all these months. Even though I have cancelled my contract I will not let this matter rest. I demand an explanation from MTN
