On Monday the 27th of January 2014, i received a new cell phone via the courier company sent by Cell C that i didnt order, i had to sign for the parcel before opening it, so i did. i queried this with Cell C only to find out that they have upgraded my contract with my consent, and also changed my tarrif to a higher package. had to then spend 20 minutes on the phone trying to resolve this. i called the call centre on the 17th of January 2014 to find out the status of my contract and was advised that it was due for an upgrade, but i did not confirm that the upgrade must be done nor did i choose a hand set. What give the service provider to take it upon themselves to change my package without consent just because my line was due for an upgrade. i think this is totally unethical. i had to them arrange for the collection of the hand set, and then have my line reverted back to the old package as Cell C cancellec my BIS service as well. i have been a loyal subscriber to Cell C for many year and i have more than one line with them. further more, they sent me a hand set that was more outdated than my current hand set. COME ON CELL C!!!
