I firstly upgraded my phone through Vodacom's upgrades department via telephone. Protus, Vodacom's employee set up a contract I was happy with and I accepted it. Two weeks later I realise that I'm only receiving half the minutes, data and smses we agreed on. I then phoned customer services, they log a service report and say that they will get back to me in 48hours but nothing happens. I phoned again logged a service report and still no response. On top of all this they are still charging me for BIS because they seem to think BIS is necessary for a Samsung S4 that they upgraded me on. Because I didn't tell them when I upgraded my phone to cancel BIS they therefore just carry on charging for something they know is worthless to the customer. Protus should have told me that I should cancel my BIS, but it is obviously a strategy of vodacoms to keep quiet about unnecessary charging so that they make more money. I doubt I will upgrade with Vodacom again. Word of mouth goes along way!
